FOUR WARRIORS SIGNED TO 2024 WOMEN'S SOCCER RECRUITING CLASS

Warrior Women's Soccer is excited to announce four additions to the program's upcoming 2024 season roster - Haley Bennett, Aliana Perez, Sara Scoggins, and Jillian Wilkinson.

Bennett, a forward, comes in as a transfer from NCAA DII program Ferris State University, and graduated from L'Anse Creuse High School in 2022. At L'Anse Cruse, she was a four-year varsity starter and earned several honors including All-District, All-Conference, All-Region Second Team, and All-State Honorable Mention. She is pursuing a degree in psychology.

Perez, a defender, comes in from Stevenson High School and is set to graduate this spring. Perez is a multi-sport athlete, competing for two years in varsity track and field at Stevenson. Perez played four years at the club level for the Michigan Jaguars, and intends to major in financial planning.

Scoggins, who plays midfield and defense, represents Chippewa Valley High School, graduating in the spring 2024 semester. Scoggins started all four years in Chippewa Valley's varsity program and was named Team Captain in her senior season. Scoggins plans to pursue a degree in business while at Rochester.

Wilkinson, a forward, arrives from Romeo High School and is set to graduate in spring 2024. Wilkinson was a two-year starter for Romeo and has experience playing at National Girls Academy. At Rochester, Wilkinson intends to join the nursing program.

Head Coach Skipper Mukhtar had this to say on the signings:

"We had an outstanding fall winning 12 games, and are super excited with the four girls we have already signed. I believe that all four will have an instant impact on our team. All four of these players have great character, and will continue the culture we are trying to build at Rochester University. I love our class so far, and we're going to continue to work hard at maintaining the culture and instilling the values of our program."
