GARTH PLEASANT
INDUCTED OCTOBER 21, 2017
A graduate of Michigan Christian College in 1969, Coach Garth Pleasant has been an integral part of Rochester Christian's athletic department ever since.
The former Warrior basketball player served as athletic director and men's basketball coach for over 38 years and holds 720 collegiate wins, the most by any collegiate coach in Michigan. Pleasant's teams won five USCAA national championships, and he was named Coach of the Year four times. He is also a member of the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Hall of Fame and three other Halls of Fame.
In addition, he has built one of the most successful basketball camps in Michigan, which has also been a blessing to RCU.
It is impossible to talk about Warrior Athletics without thinking about Pleasant's sacrifices and contributions.
