FRED HARRISON
INDUCTED OCTOBER 13, 2018
Fred Harrison played basketball for then-Michigan Christian College from 1970-72. In his two seasons, the rugged power forward led the Warriors to a 48-16 record, including going 27-5 his sophomore season.
Fred earned first-team all-league honors both his freshman and sophomore years, and he served as captain both years. Fred was a team leader in points per game and rebounds per game during his time at MCC.
Coach Jerry Rushford said, "Fred was the first major recruit I had while coaching at MCC. He was a leader who was respected by all his teammates."
Fred also received the Wes Taphin award-an award given to a male student athlete who best demonstrates Christian sportsmanship, academic commitment and servant leadership. Fred is inducted as a men's basketball player.
