JIM TRAIL

JIM TRAIL

INDUCTED OCTOBER 13, 2018

Jim Trail was a multisport star for the Warriors from 1971-73. He was the starting point guard his sophomore season and served as Coach Garth Pleasant's first captain. Jim was also a star baseball player for Coach Bill Shinsky and received All-League recognition in both his freshman and sophomore seasons.

After graduating from then-MCC, Jim continued his college baseball career at Oakland University. "Jimmy was as tough as they come. He gave you everything he had every minute," Pleasant said.

In addition to pitching for the Warriors, he also played catcher, making him the only left-handed catcher in the history of RCU baseball. Jim is inducted as a baseball player.
