RCU MEN’S BASKETBALL SIGNS ALL-CONFERENCE GUARD FROM OCC, LINDEN HOLDER

The Rochester Christian University men’s basketball program is pleased to announce the signing of Linden Holder. Linden is a 6’1 guard from Macomb, Michigan and played his prep career at DeLaSalle High School. Linden comes to RCU after a successful season at Oakland Community College under Coach Gjon Djokaj.
WARRIORS UNABLE TO GET GOING AGAINST UNOH

Following a reschedule, the Warriors fell to the Northwestern Ohio Racers in two games on the road on Monday afternoon. Leading RCU's hitting efforts were Beau Falkenhagen and Luke Jayaraman, who each posted two hits during the series. Jayaraman scored RCU's run during the matchups.
WARRIORS SHUT OUT BY #RV MARIAN

The Warriors couldn't get the offense going in a matchup with the #RV Marian Knights on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Rochester High School, falling 18-0. Turnovers plagued the Warriors against a stingy Knights defense, with the Warriors struggling to clear the ball. Goalkeeper Kendall Cabot logged a season-high 10 saves in the contest.
WARRIORS DEFEATED BY INDIANA TECH ON THE ROAD

It was a tough outing for the Warriors in their doubleheader at Indiana Tech on Saturday, with early runs putting RCU behind. After a tough first game, the Warriors were able to put up two runs in the second outing, but couldn't close the margin in time to make a comeback effort. Chloe Gildea led the Warriors in hits during the series, logging two hits and an RBI.
WARRIORS' COMEBACK RALLY FALLS SHORT IN DOUBLEHEADER AGAINST MADONNA

The Warriors caught fire at bat in the second game of their doubleheader against the Madonna Crusaders at Oakland University Baseball Field on a rainy Saturday afternoon, but it wouldn't be enough as RCU fell just short in the late innings. After a slow first game, the Warriors ramped things up in the second game, including a six-run sixth inning to storm back into the matchup. Beau Falkenhagen was stellar in the Warriors' two games, logging five hits and three RBI to lead RCU.
WARRIOR OUTDOOR SEASON HEADS INTO APRIL

After a long wait for the end of another Michigan winter, RCU track and field will kick off the outdoor stretch of its season on April 5 with the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies Invitational. The Warriors will compete in four events ahead of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, which take place on May 2.
WARRIORS SWEPT AT HOME BY CORNERSTONE

It was a tough outing on a cold day for the Warriors against Cornerstone, with the team dropping both games after the Golden Eagles capitalized on consistent batting efforts. Jaya Forti produced one RBI for the Warriors, while Chloe Gildea logged two hits in the day's second game.

The Warriors couldn't get the offense moving against the Bethel Pilots on Wednesday, falling 18-1 after four quarters of play. After a dominant first quarter by the Pilots, the Warriors weren't able to regain much ground until the final quarter, when Liliana Tasich put in a goal early in the period.
WARRIORS FALL TO SAGINAW VALLEY CARDINALS IN SINGLE NINE

The Warriors fell to the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals 15-5 on Tuesday. After a tight first five innings, an 11-run stretch by the Cardinals proved costly for the Warriors in what was otherwise a solid game. Catcher Aidan Alspaugh posted two runs on two hits in the matchup to lead RCU.
WARRIORS FALL TO #9 INDIANA TECH IN HOME OPENER

Things couldn't translate for the Warriors offensively in a 26-1 loss against #9 Indiana Tech on Saturday afternoon at Rochester High School. Following a hot start by the visitors, it took RCU a moment to get into the scoring column, with the team getting a goal to go in the fourth quarter. Natalie Soule led the Warriors with the score.
WARRIORS SECURE FIRST WIN IN PROGRAM HISTORY AT AQUINAS

Despite playing down one player for an entire match on Wednesday night, Warrior women's lacrosse secured the first win in the program's history on the road at Aquinas, 7-5. Following a high-scoring first half from both teams, RCU held the Saints scoreless for the entire second half to secure the win and make a mark in RCU athletics history.

It wasn't an ideal day for RCU against Spring Arbor during a nine-inning game on March 18, with the Warriors falling 12-0. Errors and hits made the difference in the contest, with the hosting Cougars besting RCU in both categories. Brendan DeFlorio and Drew Schultz both posted two hits each in the contest.

The Warriors weren't able to pick up a win against reigning WHAC Tournament Champion Indiana Tech in their doubleheader on March 17, falling behind after a tough day at bat. Aidan Alspaugh led the Warriors on the day with two hits and one RBI in the second matchup.
WARRIORS FALL IN FIRST WHAC GAME AT SIENA HEIGHTS

The Warriors couldn't emerge victorious in their first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference game of the season, taking on the Siena Heights Saints for a single nine, falling 16-7. After a substantial first six innings for the Warriors, things went bad in the bottom of the sixth, with the Saints going on a tear. First baseman Dakota Shafer led the Warriors with two RBI, producing two hits alongside catcher Aidan Alspaugh.
WARRIORS FALL TO CRUSADERS IN ACTION-PACKED AFFAIR

After a hard-fought four quarters of action, the Warriors couldn't overcome the Madonna Crusaders on Saturday night, falling 10-8. The Warriors and Crusaders found themselves neck-and-neck throughout the contest, with RCU staying in distance thanks to some major offensive plays. Junior Jessica Cadman led the Warriors in scoring with four goals, while four other Warriors produced scores in the action-packed affair.
WARRIORS SPLIT DOUBLEHEADER WITH DEFIANCE
March 14, 2025
The Warriors split games with the Defiance Yellow Jackets during their March 14 doubleheader, taking the second game 3-2 after a 1-0 loss in the first matchup. In the victory, the Warriors got big plays from Lucas Bateman and Brendan DeFlorio, who logged base hits and RBIs to give the Warriors a lead midway through. On the mound, Bryan Masterson gave RCU one of his career-best pitching performances, throwing ten strikeouts in the win with just one earned run.
