ROCHESTER HEADS TO OHIO FOR MATCHUP WITH RACERS

LIMA, Ohio - The Warriors (11-5, 6-4) will look to get back in the winning column with a matchup against the Northwestern Ohio Racers (4-12, 3-7) on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m.

THREE KEY THINGS

THE GARAGE

UNOH's home gym, The Garage, is known as one of the WHAC's most challenging places to play. With tight spacing inside, The Racers have had more wins at home than losses in three of the last four seasons. UNOH's most recent win was a 103-74 win against Michigan-Dearborn at home.

ROCHESTER FIGURING THINGS OUT

It's been a tough stretch for the Warriors, who've conceded four of their last five games - all in conference play. In all those games, Rochester hasn't scored more than 66 points - all season lows in team scoring. Rochester started the season with a bang, particularly with outside shooting, and will aim to return to that tonight.

RACERS' FOUR SCORERS

Four players for the Racers average double-digit points - Ryan Archey, Kahlil Davis, Jaylin Priddy-Powell, and Grant Pikkart. Davis played his first game of the season on Jan. 6, and has been a vital contributor to the Racers offense. Rochester will look to slow the four players down.

COACH'S CORNER

Head Coach Klint Pleasant had this to say on preparing through the stretch:

"We've emphasized all the small details that actually impact the game. There are many things not within our control, but we've elevated the importance of that things that are in our control.

The season is usually full of ups and downs and we need to learn in both situations and apply things that add to playing our best."

SPORTS INFORMATION SPOTLIGHT

As of Jan. 17, center James Fisher is the current program leader in field goal percentage at 72.1%.

AROUND THE CONFERENCE

It remains an intense race at the top of the WHAC with three teams - #10 Lourdes, #RV Madonna, and Indiana Tech at 9-1 - atop the WHAC. Lourdes and Indiana Tech face off tonight. Rochester is tied in fourth at 6-4 with Aquinas and Cornerstone.
