COACH PLEASANT’S THOUGHTS ON COACH PEREIRA:
“Paris has a great understanding of the game. He is a clear communicator; you can count on him for honest insight. He was a high-level player in our program and could see the game as a player and relate to the players, while also carrying himself as a professional. A lot of what we do now, from a player development and offensive standpoint, stems from our utilization of his strengths. He was one of my all-time favorite players to coach, and having him on our staff is a real treat. He makes us better, and we trust him.”
