ADRIAN, Mich. - An early goal by senior Viktor Juncaj helped the Warriors (1-7-2, 1-4-1) earn their first win of the season over the Siena Heights Saints in Adrian on Saturday evening. The Warriors had one of their stronger offensive performances of the season, producing 19 shots to the Saints' eight.
THE RUNDOWN
FIRST HALF
- Juncaj's goal came in almost immediately for the Warriors just three minutes into the contest, and the Warriors continued to tack on attempts throughout the half. The Warriors pressed up for much of the contest, limiting opportunities for the Saints to score
SECOND HALF
- The Warriors continued to create shot opportunities in the second half, with several Warriors having near-chances at a huge goal to put the Warriors up two. Defensively, the Warriors got some huge stops to keep the game out of the Saints' reach
