WARRIORS SHUT OUT BY #17 INDIANA TECH AT HOME

WASHINGTON, Mich. - It was a tough final home game of the season for RCU (3-10-2, 3-7-1) on Saturday afternoon, falling to #17 Indiana Tech (10-1-4, 9-0-2) 4-0 in Michigan Stars Sports Center. Indiana Tech gave the Warriors plenty of trouble on the offensive end, with the visitors putting up 42 total shots on the Warriors. Goalkeeper Kris Tauzik put up 13 saves in the contest. 

THE RUNDOWN

FIRST HALF

  • Indiana Tech immediately got to attacking the Warriors, putting up a goal in the first five minutes. The visitors hurled plenty of shots at the Warriors while preventing RCU from creating any of their own offense. In the 30th minute, Indiana Tech scored again to go up 2-0 on RCU heading into halftime

SECOND HALF

  • The team from Fort Wayne continued to add shots to their tally, scoring a third goal at the 55th minute. They'd score again at the 74th minute to take a 4-0 lead and seal the game as time expired

UP NEXT

The Warriors compete in their final home game of the season against #RV Aquinas on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
