Dr. Klint Pleasant honored in BCAM's Hall of Fame Class of 2025

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) have announced their Hall of Fame Class of 2025 and Rochester Christian's Senior Vice President and Men's Basketball's Head Coach Dr. Klint Pleasant is among this year's honoree's.

Pleasant is heading into his 15th season at the helm of the Warriors and has amassed 339 in coaching wins in his career. Throughout the year's Pleasant has coached seven different National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-Americans and 14 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-Americans. In addition, Pleasant's teams have twice won the USCAA National Championship with wins coming in 2013 and 2018.

In 2018, Pleasant was named USCAA National Coach of the Year and has twice been named conference Coach of the Year in 2016 and in 2021 by the Association of Independent Institutions (I.A.A.) and the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) respectively. NAIA Champions of Character coach in 2013.

"This was unexpected and I'm both overwhelmed and grateful. BCAM is a first class organization and the hub for basketball in the state of Michigan. I'm not sure I have ever felt more honored. I'm hoping the former players and all the coaches I've worked with can feel a part of it because this has been a team effort for sure. Basketball at RCU has meant so much to so many and I hope it brings recognition to the entire RCU community as well. I'm also excited to join my Dad in the BCAM hall of fame, what an honor to be a father-son combination in a Hall of Fame," said Coach Pleasant.

Pleasant joins his father RCU Athletic Director Emeritus Garth Pleasant in the BCAM Hall of Fame after being inducted back in 2008.
