#RV MEN'S BASKETBALL GETS READY FOR JBA CLASSIC

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - The Warriors have an exciting weekend ahead of them at Garth Pleasant Arena on Nov. 15 and 16, with the Warriors hosting the Junior Ballers' Association Classic against the Marian Knights and Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars. The Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines will be the fellow WHAC team joining the Warriors in the classic. RCU enters this weekend 4-0, fresh off two big wins against the St. Francis Cougars and IU-Northwest Redhawks in the Faith Works Classic last weekend.

THREE KEY THINGS

WARRIORS RECEIVING VOTES

The Warriors enter this classic receiving national votes following major wins at Garth Pleasant Arena last weekend. In those two games, the Warriors made their mark on the defensive end, using Brett White and Tymias Williams' length to disrupt passing lanes and drives at the rim. RCU will look to continue that trend this weekend while also maintaining its offensive consistency.

MARIAN FRESH OFF MAJOR WHAC WIN

The Knights got their first dose of WHAC basketball earlier this week, defeating the #25 Indiana Tech Warriors 87-78 on the road. The Knights also enter this weekend on a hot start to the season, sitting at 3-0. Four Knights average double figures in points, led by Gus Etchison at 21 points per game.

COUGARS LOOKING FOR MOMENTUM

The Cougars join the classic at 2-1, recently falling to St. Mary-Woods 80-57 at home. Despite that loss, the Cougars have found a spark from junior guard Trent Koning, who averaged 21.5 points in the Cougars' last two games.
