TAUZIK EARNS DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS FOLLOWING 15-SAVE PERFORMANCE

LIVONIA, Mich. - RCU goalkeeper Kris Tauzik has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week following a stellar week defending the net for the Warriors, including a 15-save performance to force a draw against Goshen at home on Wednesday, Sept. 11. Tauzik's 15 saves were a career-high, while also tying for second-most by a Warrior goalkeeper in a single game in program history.

The junior has posted two games this season with double-digit saves, and this week's award marks the first time Tauzik has earned it in his career. 

Tauzik and the Warriors will resume play on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Lourdes.
