WARRIORS TRIUMPH OVER #RV CLEARY ON SENIOR DAY, 31-14
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - If you were to ask the Warriors, "How ya doin'?" following their showdown with #RV Cleary on Friday night, the program would tell you it was all smiles as the Warriors took home a 31-14 victory while celebrating the careers of seniors Nate Young, Jager Kwiatkowski, and Kirgin Tanis. The three team captains propelled the Warriors to victory with crucial match wins, helping RCU secure their second consecutive win over a team receiving national votes.
Following two tough opening matches, the Warriors were fired up and recovered thanks to an emphatic pin by Dylan Coleman. From there, the Warriors won six consecutive bouts, including falls by Young and Julius Polk, and a technical fall by Kwiatkowski. Tanis' victory capped off a thrilling night when the senior secured an overtime takedown to win by decision and cap off his home career with a win.
