ASHLEY LOON WINS WHAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

LIVONIA, Mich. - Following a release by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference on Monday afternoon, forward Ashley Loon has been named the WHAC Defensive Player of the Week with a five-steal, one-block performance in the Warriors' 82-76 OT win on Saturday afternoon. 

Loon was key on both ends of the floor for RCU in the victory at Garth Pleasant Arena, recording five steals and a block for an RCU team that forced 24 turnovers. In overtime, Loon jumped a pass and got an and-one to give the Warriors enough separation to secure the win. Loon also added 17 points on 5-8 shooting, leading the team in scoring.
