
WARRIORS WRAP UP WHAC PLAY WITH DEEPEST CHAMPIONSHIP RUN IN PROGRAM HISTORY
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - Saturday was a historic day for RCU women's bowling, with the Warriors making it to the WHAC Championship semifinal in bracket play following a fifth-place finish in the qualifying round. The finish marks the furthest advancement by RCU bowling in program history.
In the qualifying rounds, RCU bowled 2638, scoring a day-high 897 in the first baker game of the tournament. RCU finished behind St. Francis (Ill.) and ahead of Cleary, setting up for a first-round matchup against St. Francis. The Warriors shined in bracket play, defeating St. Francis 3-2 behind a clutch 199-pin performance in game five. RCU would fall to top-seeded Indiana Tech in the semifinal round. Lawrence Tech would secure the WHAC Championship following a 4-3 win over Indiana Tech.
