ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - Things couldn't translate for the Warriors offensively in a 26-1 loss against #9 Indiana Tech on Saturday afternoon at Rochester High School. Following a hot start by the visitors, it took RCU a moment to get into the scoring column, with the team getting a goal to go in the fourth quarter. Natalie Soule led the Warriors with the score.
RCU fell behind in the first half after a slew of goals by Indiana Tech, with the team from Fort Wayne pushing the pace and placing a high amount of pressure on RCU's offense, forcing turnovers. Following a tough first half, RCU slowed down the pace of the game, finding more success in transition and threatening the Indiana Tech backline with shots. Soule's scoring effort came on a coast-to-coast run following a forced turnover, giving the freshman her fourth goal of the season.
