WASHINGTON, Mich. - The Warriors suffered a rocky first half in their 7-0 loss to #4 Aquinas at Michigan Stars Sports Center on Wednesday afternoon. The Warriors' offense was hard to come by as the Saints pounced on the ball throughout the RCU's side of the pitch.
THE RUNDOWN
FIRST HALF
- It was a hot start for the Saints, who scored two goals in the game's first five minutes. RCU wasn't able to find much of an answer on the other end of the pitch, with the Saints hounding the ball and forcing several RCU turnovers. The Saints grew the lead by two more goals before halftime
SECOND HALF
- The Warriors' game continued to go poorly, as the Saints tacked on two more goals in the second half's first 11 minutes. The Saints continued to push the pace on the Warriors, with multiple shots being sent at goal. Aquinas added another goal to their tally before the final buzzer
