GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - On Nov. 1 at the Sturrus Center, the Warriors were defeated in straight sets by the #12 ranked Aquinas Saints in a challenging WHAC volleyball face-off. The keenly contested match ended with the Saints clinching a 3-0 victory over the Warriors. The set scores were 18-25, 13-25, and 19-25.
Kourtney Mack led the team with seven kills, followed by Alivia Everitt and Emily Carroll, who contributed five and four, respectively. Everitt also recorded a block alongside her standout moment, delivering three service aces to ramp up the challenge. The defensive efforts were spearheaded by Ashley Horne, who dug out eight attempts, followed by Mack with seven and Everith with six digs.
Looking ahead, the Warriors are scheduled to face Madonna on Nov. 6 at Garth Pleasant Arena. Prior to the contest, the Warriors will celebrate senior day.
